Lesson 1 (Worksheet) New Vowel - I (also Y is the same) Lesson 2 More word associations for the 100 words. Revision of last week’s word associations – everyone remembered them! 15 new word associations. Have you made up any of your own word associations? Use them for your homework this week. Lesson 3 ULG – My Family Quick explanation of the importance of knowing where someone comes in the family and the appropriate title to call them. The class was given a handout discussing the most common terms in the family (there are many more but as language students it is unlikely we will need to use them) Lesson 4 (Worksheet) New Sounds IÊN – IÊNG – YÊN – all the same. IÊM – YÊM – IM – all the same INH – IN – the same IP – IÊP – only dấu sắc and dấu huyền apply to these sounds. IÊT – YÊT – IÊC all the same and again only dấu sắc and dấu huyền apply IT – ICH – the same and again only dấu sắc and dấu huyền apply Lesson 5 The question ‘HOW’. The how question is very difficult to cover. Whilst we covered all the other questions in one lesson a few weeks ago, the ‘how’ question will be covered over two weeks. The general explanations can be found on the hand-out sheets. Familiarise yourself with these explanations, use your homework to get some practice at using the different questions and ‘how’ statements and if you have any questions please raise them next week. Lesson 6 (Presentation) Each student received a ‘peaceful new world’ tract. The class connected the words in the title of the tract that go together. This week if you feel up to it, use a scripture in your presentation! Anthony chose Ps 37:29 and the class practiced it together, then got up and practiced the presentation with one another. Homework As per the homework sheet, don’t forget to use the sheet Anh Sơn handed out to practice the sounds you have learnt so far. |
