The class was then split into four groups. Each group was given a bag of fruit and an instructor or helper would ask the above questions and the students would answer according to the handout sheet. There are a few extra words we learnt that aren’t on the sheet, they are Eggplant – Cà Tím, Pear – Lê and Apple – Táo / Bôm.

Lesson 5

Michael answered questions the students had from translating story 1 of the Bible Stories book. Then the class received the translation chart for the second story so they can translate it for their homework. This is the last chart they will receive for the Bible Stories book, however they are encouraged to continue translating the book as it is an excellent exercise in getting to know grammar and sentence structure.

Lesson 6

Homework last week was to create your own presentation for offering bible studies. A few volunteers got up and did their presentations for the class, then the class spread out and practiced their presentations with the instructors and helpers.
