The class this week was all handed over to the students. A few weeks back they were given the assignment of presenting a Theocratic Ministry School type talk for the final class. It was later increased to two parts if the student felt up to it and most students did in fact give two parts. Here is the 'schedule' of the students talks. The class was broken up into four groups and each group was presented exactly like the TMS. A bible reading was presented first, then a sister's talk, then a brother handled talk 3. The instructors took turns giving commendation. The students all did amazing!! Surely they didn't think when they started the class that they would reach the stage where they are able to give talks in Vietnamese after just approximately 45 hours of instruction over 20 weeks. This really is the best possible language course!!
After the students had presented their parts, the instructors gave their final comments. Here is the outline from Anh Michael's part. After the instructors comments the class was finished. Class photo's were then held. Later on in the evening, the congregation threw a 'Completion Day' party for the students. Here are some photos attached of the students presentations, class photos and the party. The class received certificates and then sang 'We Thank you Jehovah' in Vietnamese for the congregation.
The 800 common words and 300 spiritual words have also been sent out to everyone now.
Well, five months is over, but your journey has just begun, please continue to approach the instructors and others in your respective congregations for assistance with the language. The course is over, but you are by no means abandoned to struggle on your own, we are still very much here to help you. Thank you all for you hard work and dedication!
