Lesson 1: Page 10 Week 4 - Tones and Sounds. The class said words they found in the dictionary rhyming with the sounds they have learnt so far to see if Anh Sơn could readily understand them. Congrats to the class he understood 95%! Then there was revision of sounds E, EO, EN, GH, NH, NGH -NG, TH, CH and K. Then on to new sounds EM, EC-ET, EP. EC-ET, EP only have two tones that apply dấu sắc and dấu nặng. Moving on to Ê and PH.
Lesson 2: Question ULG - The class went through the pronounciation and meanings of the words in the ULG. The class took turns of asking some questions from the ULG. You'll notice that the 'How' question is missing. This is a difficult question to learn and will be its own lesson in a couple of weeks.
Lesson 3: Revision of Numbers. This is the last numbers lesson for the class. The class practiced their numbers - particularly up to twelve because this coresponds with the days of the week and months of the year. As a class they then practiced with the balloons.

Lesson 5: Books of the bible. Practicing as far as everyone had learnt, some as far as Ezra. The class also learn Chương - Chapter (sometimes you will hear Đoạn - Paragraph, though not technically correct it is sometimes used in place of Chương) and câu - verse.
Lesson 6: Basic conversation - Communicative approach. The class got up in pairs to ask and answer some of these questions. Fill in the rest of the sheet for homework, ask everyone even if they don't speak Viet!
Lesson 7: Witnessing presentation. Progressing on to introducing your partner and offering magazines. Pairs got up and introduced their partner and offered a magazine, then the whole class stood up and practiced with gestures.
Homework: As per homework sheet. Also Anh Sơn will be away next week so for the next two weeks, so lots of practicing your tones and all the sounds you have learn so far!
