Lesson 1 – Anh Bảo reviewed SPELLING.
Anh Bảo randomly selected students to spell out words from last week's daily routine list the Vietnamese way & he wrote what they told him on the board. Everyone did well with this exercise.

Lesson 2 – GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS STORIES were reviewed.
Some students shared their stories with the class, other students translated what they understood.

Lesson 3 – DICTATION with anh Nhân.
Anh Nhân read slowly & students wrote what they heard. Work was collected to be marked & then returned to the students.
Good news: We were very happy to have anh Nhân join us as one of our instructors this week :o) Bad news: Anh Long could not be with us this week :o(

Lesson 4 – TEST on DAILY ROUTINE.
Students received these (daily routine pictures) & wrote what the people were doing in the pictures. Homework – students were asked to correct their own tests & learn the things they didn't know for next week.

Lesson 5 – PROPOSITIONS OF MOTION.
Anh Bảo orchestrated the class as they repeated these new words. Anh Nhân explained the difference between how to say “it's on the left/right” (bên trái, bên phải) & “turn left/right” (quẹo trái, quẹo phải). You will find these terms very useful, especially while in the ministry. Students received this (homework sheet).

Lesson 6 – Our NARRATIVE was reviewed.
Students shared what they had translated. Students received the (next gripping chapter) in the ongoing drama to translate for next week. We've had a lot of fun with this, some students have said it's their favorite homework each week. 

Lesson 7 – DAILY ROUTINE HOMEWORK was reviewed.
Some students shared their daily routine with the class, other students translated what they understood. Well done everyone!

Lesson 8 – DICTATION reviewed.
Anh Nhân mentioned some common mistakes he found while correcting the student's work. The most common mistakes involved the tones students used, overall spelling was good. 

Lesson 9 – INTERPRETER SCENARIOS.
Anh Nhân (English speaking doctor) anh Bảo (interpreter) & chị Lee (Vietnamese patient) demonstrated how to do this & then students split into groups of 3 & used (these doctor & lawyer consultation sheets) to practise. This was a fun exercise, there was a lot of laughing & everyone enjoyed this.

Anh Bảo explained how humour helps language learning. (This additional sheet) was not given to students but can be printed. It explains more about the value of humour in language learning.

Lesson 10 – PRESENTATION for the brochure: The Bible What Is It's Message.
