Warm Up
Today we played Trivial Pursuit. The class split up into four groups and were all given these four questions one after another with the topic trivia about Vietnam. Then we reviewed to see which group had the most correct answers.
Lesson 1 - Reading Practice Group Sessions
The class broke up into four groups and had reading practice with all of our helpers and instructors. The aim was to fine tune our reading ability and to identify and work on common mistakes.
Lesson 2 - Final Assignment Class Time
Having broken up into our five final assignment teams, the students spent the remainder of this lesson working on their final assignments, with the assistance and support of the instructors and helpers.

Lesson 3 - Summary of Methods
The Vietnamese Language Class sure does present a lot of methods. How do we keep track of them all? Well, a simple booklet was prepared and given to each of the students called Methods of Language Learning - Mastering the Vietnamese Language. It explains all of the various Methods and Sub-methods that have been developed for this course and taught these past 18 weeks. This is an excellent resource detailing all the efficient and effective methods we can use as we further progress personally in learning Vietnamese. The class also received a Pocket Universal Language Generatorso they can practically apply the premise of this method in everyday speech.
Lesson 4 - Reading Practice Group Sessions
The students broke up into roughly the same groups as lesson 1 and we did a combination of reading practice, basic interpretation, auditory comprehension and 'English-Off' sessions.
Lesson 5 - Culture Lesson
Katrina detailed the different points taken from an Interview we had with Brett Tracy from 2013, a brother who has been living in Vietnam with his family for over 6 years up until recently. His comments and suggestions are very helpful and informative, providing much insight into how best to approach our ministry in helping the Vietnamese people.
Lesson 6 - Field Service
Class was reminded that today was first Saturday of the month. One of the many duties of a bible study conductor is to offer prayers. So a handout was distributed outlining some advanced prayer suggestions and samples. This will be a great help and an important platform to continue to improve the quality of our Vietnamese prayers. Here is this handout's audio.
Homework
As per Homework sheet, quite a big difference. Also, the Word of the Day list was handed out. Here is its audio.
